Why wont the Yahoo email search feature work?

I have found that my Yahoo email search feature has stopped working! I rely on it to find old messages and important information. I did email them but havent received a reply. Anyone got any information?|||I am having the same problem. Search used to work perfect. Then all of a sudden, it stopped. I have 3 Yahoo accounts, all with the same problem. I've had one since 1998, one since 2001 and one since last week.

|||The same problem in my Email search on yahoo, only 4days mail can be searched out, why yahoo service make a reply just :sorry , and appreicate, and our satisfaction is their goal, but they seems don't makeeffort to reach their goal at all.

|||I have been having the same problem for quite sometime now. WTF, one would think they should solved this problem by now. Anybody knows Yahoo customer support number?

|||Auuugh! I am so tired of the search feature not working. I have many folders, two jobs, three kids and have used yahoo for many years-using the search email feature often. I am so ready to move to gmail! This problem with search has been going on way too long! Fix it, already!

|||OK it is June 2010 and email search still doesn't work properly for me. I can plainly see an email that exists, search for a word in the title of the email, and the search does not find it. This is one of the most basic, rudimentary operations, how could Yahoo mess it up?

|||Not exactly an answer here but I have the same problem. I contacted Customer Service and they told me the same thing "We apologize for the inconvenience. We are working on it". It has been several days now and no update since then and the search function is not working on emails older than a few days. I use Yahoo mail pretty much exclusively and have had it for a long time. Not having search is really a hindrance. I wonder if this is a sign of things to come to Yahoo!. It is very disappointing to loyal users.|||I also am having the same problem, just thought I would join the crowd and let you all know you are not alone... I figure if we all make a stink they will get busy correcting this obvious problem... Not sure if this is a feature or a bug, that is, I am not a Mail Plus user. -Thanks...
