Can my employer see my search history because our email account is managed by Gmail?

My work email is managed by Gmail and I work at a remote location away from my main office. I dont think my boss has installed any special software to watch what we do, but Im wondering if because my account is through Gmail, they can see things like what I search, sites, etc.?? Does anybody else have a work email through Gmail that knows how this works?|||I believe your employer would have to have access to your computer in order to see your search history.|||if you are worried about them accessing your google search history, just clear your browser history or your internet history period (I've done it before at work). just use another computer to surf the net. technically, if you're googling off of company's time, then its not their business.

if they really want to know what you been doing, and you've cleared your history, then they would have to hire a lawyer, and a judge sign a supeona, and have your internet history accessed ike that. I mean, unless u were looking at kiddie porn or something, then I don see it coming to that.|||Your computers are owned by the company, therefore everything you do, from searching to e-mailing, is open for viewing, even if done on your lunch hour, according to law. Best bet is to do your personal e-mailing and searches at home on your own computer.
