Is it possible to search for an old particular email in gmail?

I need to recover one particular email from my old emails in gmail inbox. I can guess words in subject field of the email, but can not guess when I received it. Is it possible to search for it?|||yes, use the search bar.|||Use the search option with related words in the subject as well as in the body of the mail. If you have not deleted, it will definitely show up.|||It can be deleted or sent to spam folder. If the spam folder is empty then its deleted but you can get a recovery software for it I dont know the name of it though.
