I want to make tumblr but I don't want my classmates or schoolmates to add me or know that its me.
Can they search me by by my email?|||They can not search you by email, just user name. Just to make sure, set your privacy settings or get a new mail to blog "anonymously".
You can also set a blog to share with your friends, and password protect it:
